I Mug all day: A Glimpse into my Coffee Mug Collection

Calling All coffee and tea girlies, where y’all at?

Half the fun of drinking coffee or tea is picking out the right cup that vibes with me that day. I don’t know if you feel the same way, but choosing a coffee cup really lifts my mood in the morning. Call it whatever you want—spiritual, a little out there, or just a fun trick—but I genuinely love how something so simple can help set the tone for my day.

So, get ready, my loves! It feels like I’m sharing my diary, lol, because I’m excited to show you some of my favorite cups!

Disney World’s 2007 Mug

This one holds a lot of meaning to me. Growing up, we didn’t have much, so trips were pretty rare for us. But then, I got lucky—my clogging team tried out for a chance to dance in the Disney Parade, drawing groups from all 50 states! To our surprise, we were chosen, and everyone on our team worked hard to raise the money so we could go; thus, I got the unforgettable chance to dance in the Disney World parade.

Not everyone gets to say that, right?

This mug may look simple, but it brings back such wonderful memories of my first trip to Disney World- where I met all the characters and performed our routines. It symbolizes that dreams can come true when you keep looking for opportunities and put in the effort!

International Coastal Cleanup, 2022

Starting fresh in D.C. has its challenges—like feeling lonely while finding my footing. To combat the loneliness, I decided to put myself out there while doing something I usually enjoy -volunteering. I stumbled upon D.C.’s coastal cleanup on Meetup, showed up alone, not knowing a soul, and ended up meeting an incredibly friendly guy who’s been volunteering for the organization for years!

He made me feel right at home. We shared stories about our lives and what drew us to this cause, and he even gave me a list of must-try restaurants around the city.

It was a long but rewarding day—I made a new friend and helped clean up the earth. This mug is a reminder that taking a chance, opening up, and embracing new adventures can be surprisingly easy and so worth it!

Squeeze the Day, Tarjae

I’ll admit, this mug doesn’t hold any deep sentimental value, but when I spotted it at Target, I just couldn’t resist—it was too cute and totally matched my spiritual vibe!

If you know me, you know I’m all about those bohemian, nature-inspired aesthetics; anything that reminds me of the forest is an instant yes! So, I decided to treat myself. The little “Squeeze the day” message is the perfect reminder to make the most of each day—because something good can always comes out of it!

This mug is a recent addition to my collection and a perfect tribute to my favorite season—Spooky Season! It’s so cute, and the best part? It was only $5!

Honorable mention: Land before time glass mug

I might be revealing my age here, but after all these years, I’ve still got my Land Before Time glass cup! I don’t use it often, but it’s one of those things I plan to hang onto for a loooong time.
