Donald Trump is Set to Spend $92 Million of Taxpayer's Money on His Birthday Instead of Funding School Meals for 180 Days
According to the Daily Beast, Donald Trump has ordered a four-mile military parade for his 79th birthday on June 14th, 2025, with no prior planning. This idea first emerged during his first term in 2018, when he proposed a similar parade that was estimated to cost around $96 million for a single-day event.
The military procession is set to travel from the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia, to the White House in Washington, D.C. This comes after Trump controversially chose to skip a ceremony honoring four fallen soldiers to play golf in Florida.
The question now is: What else could this money be used for?
Here’s how. For instance, the $56 million allocated for the parade could instead feed over 300,000 children in a school district for 180 days. However, rather than addressing such pressing needs, the funds will go toward boosting Trump's ego.
