Kierra's Review of Starbucks Single Packaged Instant Coffee, Is it Worth It?
How Does It Stack Up Against it’s Canned version?
Starbucks' assortment of coffee solutions is undeniably innovative and resourceful, especially with the addition of its instant coffee mixes. Their 8-pack micro ground instant coffee shines competitively among its competitors, with an asking price of $7 per box—a whopping $1.14 per cup—to offer a touch of luxury in every sip.
Each serving arrives nestled in individual plastic pouches within a sleek cardboard container. Although it looks great, it's at the cost of being environmentally mindful, which is definitely something to consider.
With every serving, Starbucks recommends the classic 8 ounces of water per cup; however, I've discovered a secret: less is more. For instance, if you add a small splash of water, you can mimic the grounds into an espresso, creating a decadently rich base that harmonizes beautifully with my milk of choice—fairlife—and the richness of my creamer of choice --Chobani's Caramel Macchiato blend. The result allows you to channel your inner barista, crafting lattes and macchiatos with ease; outshining it’s canned counterpart.
Overall, if you're okay with splurging and the environmental waste it produces, I recommend adding this Starbucks instant coffee mix to your daily routine!
